Freehand 2

Freehand

I hardly ever do any illustrating freehand on a graphics tablet.

A mess?

I needed a new notebook, so in typical style I made one. But I jammed together some drawings to make some interesting end papers. I printed it on cream paper, which was tasty.

Human Animal

This project was based on a couple of ideas. The main thread comes from the Toa, by Chang Tzu (I think). The project was to do with the idea of everything being connected and therefor overtime, merging together.  Which is if you think about it, pretty much true. All the colour in this image is collaged from my face, which I printed. The idea came from the impressions left on the pavement by leaves, not that I need an excuse to cover myself in paint.

The Tinman

Three words, aluminum powder makeup.

The Natural History Museum.

The only decent sketch I managed to do, its always so busy there. Always nice to have a bunch of school kids leaning over you're shoulder too.

Minnie Williams

This one time, I went to Minnies house, and we drank Bucks Fizz. We watched Mean Girls and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. I had never seen either of these movies. Minnie was really still, so I drew her. Sorry its a rubbish photo of a good sketch Minnie. X

How....Totally......Amazing.

I heart you Thora. Scarlette too, and Steve Buscemi. I heart you forever.
Another pencil drawing and terrible photograph of it. How....Totally......Amazing.

The worlds smallest violin

Just for the waitresses. Done in pencil and pen. Bad quality photo. Yep.

An empty book

Not all the books I make are green. (Sometimes I make blue ones) You get no points for correctly guessing my favourite colour. Its a tradition bind, isn't that interesting?

Wabi Sabi

A project from the first year.

Are you dense??

 The goddam Batman.

Christopher Robin.

Water colours (and biro) this time. I like water colours very much so. Kids are nice to draw.

This is an owel.

Another biro creation.

Hello Wabbit!

In biro! So much cheaper than fancy pens, and much tastier results.

Book Binder

Geisha

I did this all in pencil. This one I kept.

Pharrell Williams

Something I painted when I should have been doing a project. I gave it away.

Don't start on a pessimistic note.

A project I did with Minnie Williams. Its about reality, and cutting paper really neatly.
